Hello, I am a real world pilot, and I use both FS2004, and a lowrance airmap 600c gps. I am trying to see if I can design a flight plan in in FSbuild - export it to FS2004 AND export it to a file format that the software from LEI (Lowrance Electronics) called 'MapCreate' can import.
Mapcreate uses 'gps route files' in .usr format, and they say they can import ASCII text files in the format:
[latitude],[space][longitude],[space][waypoint name
(IE a comma delimited ascii file)
There example reads:
36.060798, -95783549, Church1
36.060784, -95.761647 First Turn
etc etc.
the negative preceeding the longitude is for W
Ie the first waypoint is N36.06079846, W95.78354912
Is it possible to get FSbuild to export in this format?
And on a related note, how do we get FSbuild to open a previously created route?
Thanks for your help - and Ernie - after having read some of the recent posts on this forum - you must have the patience of Job!!
