If its not displayed the tracks have not been downloadd. Go into plan moe 'press PM' then press the 'DN' button to load the tracks.

Regards.
Ernie.

Greetings all,

OK.....I'm confused. Forgive my ignorance, as I've only recently become acquainted with overseas flying, after buying the LD767. Prior to that, I've only flown in N. America with the PMDG737. In a previous post, someone said the following:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Westbound NATs are generally displayed (in the USA) in the afternoon, because this is when most flights leave for Europe (15:00 - 20:00 EDT). Therefore, they are published as close to the "afternoon push" as possible.

Eastbound NATs are published for the same reason. Most flights leaving Europe leave in the morning, to arrive here in the afternoon, which is why you can't download NATs going westbound early in the morning.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I might be directionally challenged (especially when I drive.....lol) but wouldn't N America to Europe be EASTbound (flying from west to east) and Europe to N America WESTbound? Am I missing something here?

Thanks,
Ron

You're right whoever stated probably just made a mistake and meant 'Eastbound' to Europe.

Regards.
Ernie.

Ernie,

Thanks for your response. Now I have another question. I just loaded a KJFK-EGLL flight plan to check on the available NATS. After pressing the DN button, I got TRAKV thru TRAKZ. On the NATS link I saw earlier (notams.jcs.mil......), it also lists TRAKU, but that one doesnt appear as an option in FSBuild.

Also, a different problem. On the "online ATC" page, when I press the ATC button I get "the parameter is incorrect". I've cut and pasted my .cfg file info for you to see:

[FSBUILD]
AUTOREFRESH_DELAY=1
MAGYEAR=2002
AIRCRAFT=B767-300 w/ CF6-80C2B6
SBPC_SERVER=www.vatsim.net
ROUTELINE=1
NATRAKURL=http://www.fsbuild.com/nat.html
WEATHERPROG=AS6

[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
ACTIVESKY=C:\PROGRAM FILES\FSBUILD
AS6=C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9\MODULES\ASV6

[FLY!]

[PS1]

[X-PLANE]

[STARTUP]
CLEARMAP_BEFORE_BUILD
DISPRTEWPTSONMAP
WINDS_ALOFT
AUTOREFRESH_ON

Thanks for your help,
Ron

Yep,

Seems like free open-to-public NATs are gone forever

They were there Friday morning, they haven't been there since.

Being its a holiday weekend in the US, we'll have to wait till at least Tuesday (5-27) to see if the data returns.

Regards.
Ernie.

It doesn't look like the site is under maintanance or has some sort of technical issues. There is clear indication that you should be authorized to use NATs data.

Anyway, I hope that I'm wrong.

The source page at jcs.mil is still there and accessible , there's just no NATS data on the page. The PACOTS page on the same site still has its data, and its up to date.

The NATS page had Friday mornings westbound tracks, but then there was no data for Friday afternoons eastbound tracks and its been that way since then.

It may be that they just got an early start on the long weekend.

We'll know better on Tuesday. If it doesn't come back then, then we'll know somethings up.

Regards.
Ernie.

NATs are up and running, but FSBuild fails to load them. I guess that the problem is because of this newly introduced secirity certificate that (probably) blocks FSBuild's engine requests.

Its there, from what I can see.

We only retrieve the NAT tracks once every few hours.

Regards.
Ernie.
