Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Can anyone help me on this please ?

Brief history :- have recently got a new high spec pc running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Have installed FS9, various scenery (all payware), REX, ActiveSky Evolution etc and the sim is running beautifully.
However, I have a major problem with FsBuild....installed v2.3, update for 2.3, the PMDG 744 data and airac 1009 from the FsBuild website. Everything worked perfectly. Now for the problem:

I installed the update for version 2.4.0.2, the latest airac from Navigraph and the FsBuild window shows FSBUILD 2.4.0.2. The program loads up fine and I've rebuilt the map databases but as soon as I select the "build" function for my route I get the following message:

FsBuild2 MFC Application has stopped working
Close the program
Search the web for possible solution

I've uninstalled/reinstalled FsBuild twice but it makes no difference. I really would like to get it working as I always fly online and need the latest airacs.

Please can anybody help ?

What route are you trying to build ?

Try doing a build with no exporting, and see what happens.

Also try doing a reinstall, and not rebuilding the map databases, and see what happens.

I tried 2 different routes....one short (taken from the latest UK SRD) and one long (few months old)

Nothing was checked in the "export to" menu...........the prog still stopped working.

Have done a reinstall and not rebuilt the map databases.....no difference...still stopped working.

The "short" route:
EGLL - EGPF : EGLL WELIN UT420 TNT UN57 POL UN601 MARGO EGPF (Taken from the UK SRD)

The "long" route:
EGLL - OMDB : EGLL BPK M185 CLN UL620 ARNEM UP147 RKN UL980 DLE UL986 INROG UM860 CRM UM688 NINVA UT888 SIDAD UP975 SESRA M677 RABAP UM677 UMAMA UP559 VUXOR Y505 DESDI OMDB (this was a real world plan undertaken less than 2 months ago)

Note in both cases I deliberately omitted the SIDS/STARS both above and when the application crashed. For information I inserted them during "testing" after the initial crashes for elimination purposes but the application still crashed.

Ernie, sorry to stick my nose in this one but I think he's still using ver.2.4.0.2 so maybe If he update he will not have problems anymore.
I tried the same route and it is working perfectly here also. (ver.2.4.0.3)

Have installed version 2.4.0.3 and everything works perfectly
