Hi Ernie can you release a special export format for .kml files native for Google Earth without making conversion with other programs?

Thanks a lot

It might be something we can do. We might even be able to embed it right into the application since it
can already display web pages.

But I'll have to find some time to do it.

I'll look into it, but no promises.

Regards.
Ernie.

Ernie,

I know your a busy man, but I was wondering if you had had the chance to look into the possibility of providing kml output files for Google Earth?

Many thanks,

Steve.

Do you still need to do this, when ver 2.4 exports the route to Google Maps ?

Regards.
Ernie.

Hi Ernie,

I have ver 2.4 and I think its great, but I can't seem to find a way to save the google map output. Is there a way to save this so that it can be used again on its own, in a web browser or the like, so you have a permanent graphical record of the routing without the need to run FSBuild?

If you can output the Google Map file then I would say no, but if you can't then I can still see a need for the option to export a kml file.

If i'm missing something obvious then please let me know.

Many thanks,

Steve.

Look in the Fsbuild folder for a a file named 'fsbgooglemap.html'.

When you export to Google Maps, the route is saved into that file in the Fsbuild folder.

You can simply rename that file, and you have a permanent copy which you can separately load into a web browser.

Regards.
Ernie.
