I have just purchased FSBuild.
I can create a flight plan OK and save it but it only saves to FSplan folder.
When I tell it to export to FS2004\FSX (I have FSX) nothing happens. I have set my directory to where my .PLN files are stored.
How do I get the plan to save in .PLN format?

[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
FS_HOME=C:\USERS\DAD-FLYING\MY DOCUMENTS\FLIGHT SIMULATOR X FILES

This is what I have set, as this is where all the .PLN files are stored but nothing appears from FSBuild.
Am I being stupid or am I missing something?

Ernie,

Thanks,
I set it as you said and IT WORKS! So now I am happy and can explore all the other functions.

After building a route you will see a "Results" screen.

Do a screenshot of it and post it here.

After a reinstall of FSBuild on my laptop with Windows 7, I am having this same problem on my FS9 network installation and it's driving me mad! I'm no newbie to FSBuild or the network configurations, having used it for over 3 years, and I have edited the appropriate entry in fsbuild2.cfg manually and even reinstalled FSBuid several times to the C: root directory with no resolution. FsBuild 2.4.0.3 will store a flight plan in the FSNavigator module folder across the network, even the iFly 737 folder correctly, but it keeps giving me that stupid same stupid error and can't save a .pln file in the Flight Simulator. I love FSBuild and always have, but I've never understood why Ernie doesn't let you specify where exactly to store your .pln files. (Other than the fact that it would be just one more step in what was no doubt a never ending programming process! :) )

Chuck,

Do a screenshot of your FSBuild results screen and fsbuild2.cfg.

Chuck,

I do not know what exactly you are doing ....

I upload my jpg file(s) to PhotobucketDOTcom and then Img (insert image) them in the post here.

The actual IMG "data" is supplied by PhotobucketDOTcom after the jpg is uploaded to their site.

Your FS_Home path does not look right.

If you use notepad .. and do a sample text file then go to save it ..and browse to your FS (where fs9.exe is located) folder .. do a screenshot of that network path ...

Also, just to verify the drive/folders are "shared".
