Which version of FSB?

New Beta ver 17 is OK for me.

I did a google search using : icao telex
and I found this information.

Yes, the most current version. The post that you referenced was from me when I had this issue many years ago when I had to do a fresh install. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find what the solution was in the forum or in any emails.

After the hard drive crash .. did you upgrade your OS to a new version of Windows?

Yes, I am using Windows 7 with the new build. However, I have had this same issue with new FSB installs with XP and Vista in the past, so I don't think it is OS related.

** NOTE **

Figured it out, but want to document it here... I ran a compare against a backup of my old FSB directory and the new one. There were were a few files that were missing from the new... one was called "icao_aircraft.txt". I copied this into the new FSB directory. Once this file was there, the Telex data now appears on my navlog. So, this file is the key. Not sure of the source of this file or why it would not have installed with the 2.3 installation that I have.
