When you scroll through the waypoints of a STAR, VOR symbols are shown along with the intersection symbols for intersections. The erroneous VOR symbols have the last VOR's frequency showing. This happens in both PM and non-PM modes. This does not happen for SID and enroute waypoints.

I've attempted to attached a pic that shows this, but I keep getting an error "Could not upload attachment to ./files/61557_......"

Version 2.4.0.17

Stacey,

Maybe you could give your route, the name of the STAR, VOR(s), intersection(s) and indicate what is showing correct and what is not... for example.
That way we would be looking at the same data.

Where are you scrolling in fsbuild?

I'm not sure the FP matters as long as you pick a STAR that has intersections. However, the FP I'm using this morning includes the ROKTO2 STAR into CYYZ. If you create an FP in FSBuild with this STAR and then scroll down the list of waypoints while viewing them on the map, you'll see that when you get to the ROKTO intersection following the YWT VOR, that all intersections (ROKTO, BONED, DULPA) show up as a VOR symbol on the map.

I'm using AIRAC cycle 1105.

Stacey,

Not on my plan/map.
Now you can see why I asked for your route (ROKTO, BONED, DULPA) ... correct?

I can't reproduce the issue either.

I have the same result.

That is why I asked for his FSBuild plan.
I selected a different arrival runway ... It does give different STAR waypoints in this case. So we are not both doing the same example.

Ok, thanks Vaughan and Ernie. I'm able to post a pic now, so here you can see what I'm seeing. I guess I'll just try a clean install. That will be a first for FSBuild.

Vaughan, I had no problem giving an FP, I was just making the comment that, for me, all STARs that had intersections had this issue.

Thanks,

Stacey

Stacey,

Did you re-index FSBuild's Navdata?

Are you using Navigraph Airac Cycle?

No luck. After a clean re-install of 2.3 followed by the 2.4.0.17 update, AIRAC 1105 install, and then rebuilding the Map Databases, I get the same thing.

It's not a major issue. Just odd that it happens for me but not others.

I'm using Win7 64-bit by the way.

Stacey,

"I'm using Win7 64-bit by the way."

Well, that could be an issue .......
Are you aware many programs have problems with it?

I've heard/read reports like that, but I've never personally encountered a Win7 issue. I've had very good success with it and I have several dozen FS add-ons.

Stacey,

What is the path and folder that FSBuild is in?

Which MSFS / payware aircraft do you fly FS9/FSX?

Is you Win7-64 an upgrade you did or did you purchase it with a new PC?

1) E:\Program Files (x86)\FSBuild (windows is on c:)

2) Wilco/feelThere: Airbus v1 (Evolution & CALL!), 737 PIC (Vista/Win7 Upgrade, Mission Pack, & CALL!), E-Jets, ERJ, Citation X
Wilco: Piaggio Avanti, Tilt Rotor
feelThere: E-Jets v2, ERJ v2
PMDG: 747, MD11
Captain Sim: 727, 757, C130
Flight 1: ATR72, Pilatus PC-12
Level-D: 767
Coolsky: Super 80 Pro
Digital Aviation: Piper Cheyenne
Aerosoft: Twin Otter
Carenado: Mooney M20J
A2A: Piper J-3 Cub w/ Accu-Sim
Quality Wings: 757
WSSimulation: Diamond Eclipse
Iris: A-10A, F16D, F-14

3) Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium Full Install (not upgrade)

4) You didn't ask for it, but here are other add-ons I use:
FSBuild
FSPassengers
Active Sky Evolution + X Graphics
Radar Contact
FSPS Flight Sim Manager
Ultimate Traffic II
FS2Crew PMDG 747
FS2Crew LevelD 767 Voice
Ultimate Terrain X USA
Ultimate Terrain X Europe
Ultimate Alaska
GEX North America
GEX Europe
TOPCAT
FSWidgets Electronic Flight Bag for FSX
FSUIPC (registered) & WideFS
Super Traffic Board
Navigraph AIRAC updates and nDAC

I have UAC completely disabled and I've been careful to ensure that ownership rights are not a problem.

Windows is on a 30 GB SSD (I have some of the folders relocated to the using symlinks to my 1 TB HD)
FSX in on a 128 GB SSD
Programs are on a 1 TB HD

I run Radar Contact and Active Sky on a laptop running WideClient.

H/W Specs:

Intel Core i7 875K @ 2.93 GHz w/ Liquid Cooling
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465
2 x 24" LCDs
CH Yoke, Pedals, Throttle Quadrant

I see slightly more CTDs than I did when using XP, but I've also got a lot more add-ons now than I did with XP. Overall, I'm very happy with this Win7 Setup. I assumed that you were interested in compatibility with Win7 64-bit, so I've given you the complete run-down.

Stacey,

I would:
Uninstall FSFuild.
Reboot your PC.
MD C:\FSB
Install FSBuild here: C:\FSB
Do no Navdata updates etc ...just the basic FSBuild install.

Test it.
How is it so far?
