Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

SimMarket FSB2.4 installer is creating a folder named FSbuild "inside" the folder I have FSBuild currently installed in.

It should just copy the update files into the currrent user folder, whatever name the user currently has FSBuild installed into.

Is this an update for version 2.xx or a complete new installation by itself?

Andrew,

As I understand :
New = you purchase for the first time. All files included.
Update = updates the original purchased version. Just update files included.
(Without "all files" FSBuild will not work).

For me, this is an update from SimMarket.
In this case the update is "free" from Ernie.

We were testing the Beta version 18 here in the forum.
The final version is also 18.
So, I assume the same.

But I did the download from SimMarket and installed it anyway to keep everything up to date and in the correct order.

Note: normally, a new version of a program will change the first number. Like all new version 3.0 (form 2.x)

Even though this is an update, for existing customers we should be given the choice of a full clean install if preferred.
Did you sort your install issues, and what did you do?

I copied the Update to a test folder.

I copied the files in the test folder to my FSBuild folder which contained my last FSBuild Beta 18 files.

Then I did the 1106 Navigraph update.

Then I rebuilt the FSBuild Map DataBases.

Copied back my saved fsbuild2.cfg file.
