Finally got winds pulled into Fsbuild from ASE but they do not agree with the ASE winds, any body seen this before

Sure - the winds depicted in ASE can be either surface or winds aloft. Make sure you have unchecked the 'show surface wind information' box and you'll generally get a closer match in FSB. Having said that, it isn't clear to me how FSB gets its weather from ASE (since current weather text or synthesized weather only reports stations and not way points), or how the two can ever match since the altitudes shown by the two rarely match. For example, on the plan I'm looking at now ASE's textual briefing is reporting winds at altitudes of FL240 and FL300 - I'm at FL280 so FSB is clearly doing interpolation of some sort. Also note the winds in the grid have been reduced to head or tail winds alone. Perhaps Ernie will drop by and give a better explanation of the process?
