Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi Ernie:

I would like to make a suggestion about the Google map function. Would it be possible to name the Google map file created with each flight plan with the name of the flight plan and then be able to store them in a directory.

As an example, if you have a .pln or .rte named KCLEKORD then could you rename that file according and put it in a directory?

I copied and renamed three files and was able to use them only in the FSBuild directory.

This is an excellent graphical option and I very much enjoy viewing the geography of the flight plan route.

I did try what you said and it worked. I placed the files on a separate computer with the .js files that had Google Earth. The files opened successfully. I do not know if I need Google Earth for the .js files. Can you advise what the .js files do? I still think this is a good idea for us geography people.

I have version FSBuild 2.4.0.18 build 267. I have Google Earth loaded on a laptop without FSX. My goal is to create the Google route files and copy them to my FSX computer.

Everything works except the fsbgooglemap.html is not created anywhere on the computer even though the dialog box says it is. The .pln file is actually created.

I can also use the Google Map function and see the actual flight plan route.

Must I have FSX loaded to make this work and have the fsbgooglemap.html created?

The two .js files are created.
