Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

For some reason, whenever I build or import a flightplan, all but the first and last altitudes are shown as 1000ft. I tried deleting and re-installing FS Build but to no avail. Any ideas / advice please?

I'm using a pmdg 747 with FS Build 2.4.

I've had this problem right from the start when I used FS Build with just the default settings (i.e. its not caused by my fiddling around with it). I then tried changing export settings e.g, 2004/fsx, fsx.xml, pmdg specific settings, I've also tried copying and pasting routes from route finder, and flightaware but still no altitude is ever shown as above 1000ft.

Thanks for your advice. In that case I'll just carry on using the FMC defined altitudes, which from your comments actually sounds preferable as they are tailored to each flight and not just a rehash of a previous one.

Thanks again for the sound advice, I must say I have already discovered the need to enter SIDS and STARS separately after a few flights from Heathrow to Charles-de-Gaulle, without the Charles-de-Gaulle! Few things are more annoying than a great flight that ends without a happy landing.
