Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi Ernie,
It appears I originally installed FSB1.40 and then ran the upgrade for ver 2.2. Thinking this was the full version, the 2.2 upgrade was what I installed and what gave me the problem. (my other post.) If I reinstall ver 1.4 on my new system first will I then be able to upgrade to the 2.4 version?
I ran the installer just to see if it was the correct file and the directory field for the install was blank. If I do use this install what is the correct directory for the install - Program Files (X86)? Thanks for your help. Regards, Tom

The 1.4 version, as I recall (it's been a long time), was freeware and is not upgradeable to the 2.x series. You will have to buy the latest version.

Hi Ernie and DJ:
Sorry I'm going back and forth here, but the fact is I'm quite confused as to how I installed FSB2.2 on my last system. It was working fine for several years and I remember buying it, I just can't remember if I had upgraded a former version or just had the 2.2 version. I know I had an even earlier version at one time which is probably the 1.40 one I found on a backup CD.
Anyway, here is the directory you requested as well as the "target line". Thanks again for all your help. Tom

"Target" Line is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\FSBuild\FSBuild.exe"

You don't have a full installation of FSB in your folder... that's why it won't run. As noted - you need to go to your Simmarket (or wherever you got it) account and redownload your original 2.x release and install it, then upgrade to the 2.4 release. You cannot do so from the 1.4 release.

Well, I gave up trying to find my original install file and re-purchased. It installed with no problems and runs fine. It's called FSBUILD24. Do I still need to install the 2.4 upgrade or is this included in the main install since it has "24" in the filename? Thanks again, Tom

P.S. I think I answered my own question: Under HELP in FSB24 it says it is version 24018 which appears to be the most current update in the above post.
