I have attached 2 screen shots showing errors I dont know if these are causing problems expoting or not. However one error says it created the file from KBOI to KSLC but it wont export. I have been through all the tutorials on exporting files to my FMC on board a FMDG 737 but it just wont do it. I go to the FMC and rte page and after entering the orgin and des. i hit the CO button. funny thing is theres a KSEA-KPDXS file in there I entered long before I was a redistered user. Need help Thanks
Windows 7 FSX with PMDG 737-800 addon
Well it wont upload heres the first message after creating the route
ERR unable to open active sky wx-station-list.txt file unable to create ISG file C:/program files(x86)microsoft games\msflight\ISG flight plan\KBOI-KSLC.rte.
Then when I export I get this message: Created PMDG737NG file C:/program files(x86)microsoft games\msflight\ISG flight plan\KBOI-KSLC.rte.
So it kinda looks like it worked but Im not seeing it in the FMC.....maybe a re-install?

Go into "Options" and set the first path - FS_HOME - to point to the base directory of Flight Simulator X. The message you are getting indicates that the paths are not correct.

I have received no email... copy and paste the content of your fsbuild2.cfg file into a forum message and I'll look at it.

You cannot send me an email since you have no idea what my email address is... I attempt to provide some support here but do not work for FSBuild. The config file opens with notepad. If you can't find it,the FSBuild2.cfg file is in the main FSB directory.

I'm not sure where to begin...

First, where is FSBuild actually installed and what is the path? Second, how did this config file get created? Third, what version of FSB are you running? Fourth, do you really have a c:\fs directory? Do you have a c:\fs\fs2004 directory? Do you have a c:\fs\fs2002 directory? Is FS2004 installed at S:\FS2004? Do you really have all the add-ons listed in this file and are the paths shown correct?

It looks to me like you pulled this file in from some other installation, since the ISG export failed. You can't export to your PMDG plane because PMDG is not selected as an export path. I recommend you rename your fsbuild2.cfg file to fsbuild2.old and start FSBuild. That will rebuild the file; then you can go in an set and save the options that you want.

I installed it at c:\programfiles(x86)
The config was created by the install, i also removed fsb and reinstalled with the same results
Im running FSB 2.4 (note I did not have any earlier versions)
My FSX is installed at c:\microsoftgames\microsoftflightsimulatorx

There is no way that the .cfg file you showed me is the correct one... in that file, you are running FS2004 from your S: drive. Your screenshot shows that FSBuild believes that it is exporting to c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X\PMDG\Flightplans\ which indicates that it believes your FS_HOME setting is c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X. If you enter KBOIKSLC in the coroute box in the FMC your flightplan should load.

You are not the first person to mention an S: drive... If you get a chance I would like you to do me a favor and uninstall FSBuild and delete all the FSBuild folders completely. Then re-install, run fsb without making any changes (just open and close it) and copy and paste the fsbuild2.cfg content into a reply to this message. You'll be doing a good thing for future users... and, maybe, yourself.

Thanks,
DJ

Delete the Fsbuild2.cfg file.

Restart.

It will then make a new .cfg file, and you should see a messages box that says 'First time Options Completed'.

Then make and Save your settings again.

Regards.
Ernie.
