Hi ,
I'm using fsbuild 2.4.0.18. I normaly use the scratch_pad to import a flight plan.
I do enter the departure and Destination airports, altitude, SID and STARs and pres BUILD.I do get a
nice flight route. It is exported to FSX( i do delete the old .plns). Buth when I load the created flightplan ex(LOWI-EDDN.pln)
in FSX almost none of the waypoinst ect( that are in the FSBuild pln) are in the FSX flightplan even though waypoints do exist in FSX.
Is there a reason for that? And is there a other way, because at this moment I do have to make alot of changes in the FSX flightplaner.
regards,
henri

The reason is that FSB does not use the FSX database to create plans - it uses the AIRAC from Navigraph. The FSX database is much older than the AIRAC and waypoints, nav aids, and procedures have changed. All you have to do in the FSX flightplanner is use the "Load" key and select the route that FSB created for you- it will be used even though FSX has no clue about the new data. You do not need to modify it with the "Plan Route" function or you will have issues.

Interesting.
I tried to use THEELTHERE system of .PLN import.
But flightplans made on recent AIRAC data - even in .PLN format - can't be loaded in FSX.
I assumed that FSX flightplanner didn't load just beacuse its own embedded database didn't match.
Please share if you have successful experience of using .PLN based on new AIRAC actually could be loaded through FSX standard loading.
Thanks.

I use the current AIRAC for all planning and export the plans in the FSX XML format and have no trouble loading them into the FSX planner using the "LOAD" function. Having done that, the FeelThere FMC allows you load the active plan into the FMC itself... note that the FT AIRAC must match the FSB AIRAC.
