 Post subject: 2.4 and APTS.TXT error

I redid my PC and installed FSBuild from 2.2 then to 2.3.1. Everything worked. However I put 2.4 on and when I go to type in KSLC I get an error. It says can't find APTS.TXT. What did I forget... :oops:

Ernie, thanks for getting back with me.

I think, nearly 100% sure, I know what I did wrong. But I am away from my computer until this evening, I will check it then. But what I failed to remember is that 2.4, install it one level up from where I did. I had put the original in C:\FSX Programs\FSBuild. When I ran the 2.4 installer I said to install it to the same directory. So I imagine when I look I will have C:\FSX Programs\FSBuild\FSBuild. Maybe put in an edit near the link to that file to warn them about this???

Ernie,

I found the problem. I was in too big a hurry to read things and do things right. What I thought was 2.4 upgrade was 2.4.18 to 2.4.20, I had never installed the base 2.4 upgrade in the first place. :P
