Yes I can get to the z drive and open the ngx file with notepad on my remote pc. I am using window 8 on my remote and window 7 on host pc. I notice under fsx properties, there is attributes read-only box always tick even i untick it,will that cause problem. Tks

Hi DJ,

Fsbuild works great exporting to pmdg when I use on my fsx pc , so I think the problem must be my network setup however simconnect and widefs work ok on my remote . Any more tricks u can help me with. Thanks

I know that Windows 8 has much stronger, and somewhat different, security mechanisms than does Win 7 and has caused problems for a lot of folks. I don't have a Win 8 system (and won't be getting one) so I really don't have any bright ideas except to run FSBuild on the same system where you have FS.

Hi DJ,

I did it fsbuild export beautifully on my remote to pmdg, I miss to set permission to everyone on host pc, and no need to map drive just fs_home=\\charlie-pc\program file(x86)\microsoftgame\microsoft flightsimulator x. One misstep cause so much problem,but it all worth it. Once again tks for ur time and help.
