I am trying to export flight plan to PMDG 777.No success. I realized in options there is no browse push/B available at item 38 to put correct path .
Will you please help me to solve this problem.
Thanks

The 777/757 path is ancient and has no bearing on the new 777. So far as I know it uses the same flight plan format as the 737/737NGX/747/MD-11/JS41 models and will be in the same place so if you choose the 'export to...' those models you should be good. That would be C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS or C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\NGX by default.

Make sure that line 1 (FS2004/FSX) in the Options Export_Directories is pointing to your FSX directory and not to the users\documents directory. Then make sure that you have pressed the "save config options" button on the Options Settings page...

That's what the message is telling you. The T7 gets its plans from the same place the NG does.

Are you saying that you can't load the flight plan that was created? Are you running Win8?

The flightplan folder for PMDG changes with the install of the 777. The NGX flightplans need to be in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\Flightplans\NGX" and the 777 need to be in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\Flightplans\777"

FSBuild puts all PMDG flightplans into "Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\Flightplans" which is incorrect.

Do you have documentation for that change? If you do, then please post the appropriate section so that Ernie can take a look. The NGX certainly doesn't care, even though it did create a new subdirectory, and such a change makes little sense since the formats are the same. I haven't gotten the T7 yet, but would not be surprised if it creates its own directory as you say. However, I would be surprised if it isn't capable of using the legacy directory in the same way as the NGX does.

My bad, I have just transferred a plan I made for the NGX to the Flightplan folder, fired up FSX with the 777 and tried to load the route. Loaded up fine.

That will teach me to try things before I open my mouth LOL
