Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I don't get any errors in FSBuild, and it says it successfully created the .rte file in the PMDG/Flightplan folder, but there's nothing there. I should point out that there is an NGX folder inside of Flightplan, but I can't add that folder to the path in FSBuild. I searched through my C drive and don't find the .rte file anywhere.

Looking through the forum I see another user with a similar issue, but no resolution. Although I am on Win 7, and I am not getting any error from FSBuild, I cannot get an .rte file to be saved in the pmdg/FLIGHTPLAN folder. Is there a way to have FSBuild paste the .rte file someplace else and I can manually drop it in the right folder? This is really frustrating.

Suggestions? appreciate the help.

You don't need to use the NGX folder - the flight plan folder works just fine. Please post the contents of your fsbuild2.cfg (in the main FSB directory) in your message...

It might be there, but your PC might not be letting you see it. If you are using Win8 Try turning off UAC.

There's definitely nothing in the flightplan folder. Could be a permissions issue as I tried to create a .rte file out of simroutes.com and I tried to put it manually in the flightplan folder and was needing admin rights to put anything in that folder. I'm on win7 so going to try to disable uac and see what happens.

To update this for anyone else having this issue, UAC must be off in Win7 for FSBuild to put .rte in the Flightplan folder. Just glad it's working.
