Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Following Ernie's pointer I deleted the files in the image ( most probably more than required ), restarted FSBuild and ran 'Rebuild Map Database'. Following the restart the red links have returned:

Hooray, deleted files, rebuilt databases, red preview lines now in place. Thank you for that !

The first time I fired it up after deleting the databases I got a truckload of errors (duh ...) and they've all gone away except one - I'm still getting the 'error opening database' popup when the progress bar is at Loading Map Data (ATC).

I rebuilt the databases again but it won't go away - should I delete something else maybe ?

Did you delete 'ATCMap.mgb' also ?

If so can you restore that file?

The ATC map is not rebuilt, so yeah you'll need to restore it.

I can upload it somewhere if you need it.

I have two instances of FSBuild .. one for FS9 and one for FSX.

The one for FSX I backed up all files first (per Stephen Cooks post - thanks Stephen) then deleted them.
Rebuilt the DB
Yep "ATCMap.mgb" was needed so copied it back.
All PM sid/star lines = ok

For the FS9 I tried just rebuilding the DB.

Bad, no SID STAR lines in PM mode.

So I deleted the files, rebuilt the DB all = ok

Looks like I had deleted the ATC map as well, I had three of them sitting in the recycle bin including one which was deleted yesterday and I didn't get any warnings about duplicates when I restored it. Too keen lol.

Everything is sweet now, red lines and no errors, thank you very much, we can colour this one solved

So for future people who have the same issue and find this thread - move the files mentioned in Steve's post above to somewhere safe, start fsbuild which will throw up lots of errors, rebuild the databases, restart fsbuild and all should be fine unless you got rid of extra files, which is why you move not delete them. Once everything is solved then you can delete them.

Rebuilding the database is all that is required, at least in past years.

So, something new has gone wrong, possibly with a recent update.

Maybe Ernie has a solution in mind.
