Hi,

I would like to "force" AutoCalculate to use a specific SID to take a route more southerly or northerly dependant on the wind situation.
Is there a way to set certain waypoints by hand and then let AutoCalculate fill in the rest?

Many thanks for any hint.
Best regards
Helmut

Hi, Helmut

The easiest way to do this is to use auto-generate on the first pass, then remove the SID/STAR (or both) that you don't want to use and then select the one(s) that you do want from the drop-down list for each runway of choice - they'll be inserted into the route string. Then just use the 'build' button to create the final route.

Use the wildcard '*' character.

Example.

KDEN FOOOT3.RLG * PGS.RIIVR2 KLAX

You can use multiple wildcards if you want Fsbuild to generate route segments around or between a set of certain waypoints.

EGLL MID3G.MID * MILPA UM730 TOP * TAQ LIRF
