Hello all

Please bear with me I'm new to all this and my brain hurts!!!!!!!!! :P

I've recently done the tutorial KLAX-KJFK for the LDS 767, I managed to import it to the FMC on the A/C and I take it I have to fill in the various altitudes and airspeeds which correspond to the flightplan.

If this is the correct procedure which I hope it is, the FMC does not accept the speed of 459 Knots. Am I doing something wrong again!!!!!!!!!!

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Guys

You shouldn't have to fill in the altitudes or the speeds unless you wish a restriction on those.

let the LDS 767 FMS calculate the speeds and TOC/TOD, crossing altitudes etc for you.

Regards.
Ernie.

Yes, just the cruie altitude. From there the FMC should do the rest of the vertical profile based on the aircraft's gross weight etc.

Regards.
