That was the plan, it just hasn't come to fruition yet.
The orginal plan was to use ActiveSky as the weather source then have a weather displayed based on the information from ActiveSky.
But the ASv6 guys have been so busy we were never able to have this come to fruition. But I'm still hopefull it ends up as part of a future update.
