Hello,

Looking at the 1.5 DU1000_MFD on the FSX A321, will it be possible to add all those gauges (above all the EFIS) to the VC?.

Thanks.

Francisco

Only if the VC has a sufficiently large gauge surface defined. FSX (IMO) took a step backwards from FS9 by only letting you place gauges where the model designer allows in the VC.

You can replace gauges with the ISG gauges that are already in the VC, but as Owen has stated VC gauges can only be placed where the model developer left a gauge area. And often they are not thinking about future gauge additions.

This is true for both FS9 and FSX Btw.

Regards.
Ernie.

Ok we're complete on the 1.5 update.

The files have been sent to simmarket, I will make an announcement post when the installer is available for you to download.

Thanks for your support.

Regards.
Ernie.

Oh thank you, Ernie! It's taken every once of willpower I have to keep from constantly posting, "is it done yet?" :wink:

It is there indeed. It almost makes me glad I had surgery, and have a week off work :wink: Well, I'm off to go play with my new toys...

Thanks, Ernie!

**EDIT**
Ernie, I've found a little problem with the new settings.pdf

PROLINE4_MFD
Boeing 737 style EFIS control panel.
ident=4018
GaugeXX= isg1!HW_B737_EFIS_CNTR
size 322,368

PROLINE4_MFD_NB
Brown version of the 737 EFIS control panel.
ident=4018
GaugeXX= isg1!HW_B737_EFIS_CNTR_BR
size 247,285

Fortunately I found the correct gauge names for these two items in the 1.5 readme. Anyhow, as far as I can tell, everything else looks great!

Ok thanks, will fix that. Always happens to me when I try and copy paste things to save time.

I love it Ernie! Here's a pic of the ProLine4 in my CRJ7:

And here is a link to a pic of the real thing. Pretty darn close, I'd say! I'm stoked!!!

(note: I realise that my backup attitude indicator is missing. Oops)

Yeap, it does seem to goes well with that FSX default CRJ PFD, especially with the background colors matched.

For FS9 users I uploaded a merge to the retrofits page of the POSKY CRJ-200, Hector Molina's 2D CRJ panel, and the ISG proline MFD. Together they make a pretty good looking CRJ for FS9 I think.

Regards.
Ernie.

Yes, that is also a good looking CRJ panel, especially since the displays are black (which they are in real life). Plus, the jet is in my favorite colors (AWE)!

If only I could get those darn POSky VCs to work in FSX...

Anyhow, Ernie, thanks. This update is awesome, I've been scrounging to find planes to put all of these great displays/FMSs into :D I never thought I'd have too many good gauges, and not enough good planes!
