All,

Just purchased your Simavionics package over the weekend... While I'm new to the package - I'm pretty familiar with panel edits...

I starteed work on my ultimate CRJ panel for use with the POSKY CRJ-700...

I have a few issues - if I could get some help ???

1) The numbers on the compass rose and heading indicators do not appear on the HSI's... I noticed a post with a similiar problem staing that it was a font issue and that a re-install of the package may correct it... I'll try that as soon as I am able... I am running 32 bit Vista...

2) Once I load the Simavionics gauges on the panel - I am no longer able to exit my flight in FS9... As soon as I try to exit a flight - the screen goes black - the hour glass appears - and - that's the way it stays... I have to kill the FS9 process to terminate the program... If I remove the Simavionics gauges from the panel - I can enter and exit flights normally... Any ideas ???

3) I have to do more testing - but - once loaded - my OS CRJ-700 runs out of fuel in like 15 minutes of flight... Could that in anyway be related to the gauges... I don't think it was like this before my panel edits - but - hey - I could have screwed something up... The tanks are definately topped off prior to flight... I am using the JL4 Eicas and I see my fuel consupmtion up around 12000 for take off... I compared that to my ERJ-145 which looked around 6000 for the same time in take off... Haven't a clue...

Any help - greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Scott

Hi,

Just an update - I forgot to mention it also hangs on starting the flight as well... I get around it by selecting another aircraft and changing to the CRJ once in flight mode...

I loaded everything on my laptop to test... Same result on the hangs... Here is my panel.cfg - based on a heavily modified edfault Lear panel...

OK - I think I may have fixed the fuel flow... I downloaded and swapped the AIR and CFG from an different CRJ download.... I think it looks better now... I sure got to practice my engine outs with the other one though...

Stll need to address the hangs though... No luck yet....

Thanks,
Scott
