 Post subject: EFS40 EFIS + Garmin GNS

Hey guys,

I just put together a beautiful set of ISG EFS40 EFIS displays with two Garmins (GNS 530 as NAV1 and GNS430 as NAV2) on a Dreamfleet Baron 58.

My problem is that I'd like the GNS to communicate with the EFIS so I can navigate the FPL entered in the Garmin on the EHSI (via the "FMS" mode). Because so far, when I switch to FMS mode on the EFIS, it catches no info from the GPS.

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out with this.

Morning,

I did the same with PAD's Cessna414-two 430s stacked. Replaced the orginal HSI with the EFS50 HS1. I read your reply Ernie but I think there ought to be made way for your guage to catch the GPS data without having to install an FMS of some type. In the meantime, think I have a Stec3300 laying around here somewhere.
