Hi,

I'm using ISG1 for FS9 on a CLS-747-200F/RFP V2-merge, including gauges of bot origins (cls for the VC mainly), all in all, it works quite well and I'm happy with it, but:

Creating an aircraft.cfg file following the documentation included with ISG1 1.8, I wanted to add a refrence for a fsbuild2-style prf-file using the PerformanceData-parameter. I can confirm that ISG reads the file, since the aircraft model and other stuff is displayed right, but I dont see any effect of the prf-file, plus I would like to know if it's possible to use tld-files from fsbuild2 also and have the smith fms calculate the V-speeds based on given GW and TAT.

Here's my cfg as it is now (copy of prf-file in ...\isg\aircraft\):

Code:
; Boeing 747-200F
ClbAltRest=10000
ClbSpdRest=250
ClimbTas=310
ClimbRate=2000
CostIndex=52
CruiseIasMin=280
CruiseIasMax=325
CruiseTas=450
DescAltRest=10000
DescSpdRest=250
DescentTas=300
DescentRate=2500
FPA=3.5
FlyoverWptChgDist=3.5
LdgFlaps=30
MaxCruise=39000
MaxVnavDescRate=2500
MaxVnavClimbRate=2000
MinVnavIas=175
MinVNavRadioAlt=200
ModelId=747-200F
PerformanceData=B742PW.prf
TOFlaps=10
TOFlapsRange=10,20
TransAlt=18000
V1=141
VR=152
V2=160
Vref=172
VrefMin=180
VrefMax=163
WptChgDist=3.5
ParkingFile=isg_Parking.txt
MFDTextAntiAlias=0

Most of the values are still generic.

Did anybody do this before with success and can tell me if it can be done at all and if, what I'm doing wrong?

Best regards and thx in advance

Frank

As far as I know the prf files are only used by SMITHS for fuel calculations.

1st of all, thank you for your reply.

As far as I can tell from testing, you're right and the fuel-calculation is the only thing based on the prf-file. Does somebody know if there's a way to "populate" the engine-rating-display on the fms' takeoff-page? I read in post here that a parameter can be included in the cfg for the engine-type, but I dont know what to use for the JT9D and its sub-versions. Any idea, or is there a list with valid parameters?

Best regards and thx in advance

Frank
