Hi Mr. Ernie,

Comparing a older 'apts' file with the new one, update 1.8, it seems that there are 2481 apts missing with the new issue that are included with older issues.

Compared with the new File \isg\Navdata\apts.txt

For example:
01G
27R
FAGB
FLZB
K9W3
URKE
VHHX
VHKG
ecc........

Mybe some of them don't exist anymore; but 2481 ?

Pls. check on your side.

If i'm wrong, Sorry !

Nota:
All ILS-Frequencies are correct with 2 decimals

If you wish, File-List can be sent via e-mail.

regards,
Forstmeier

That's because we included those airports in our Navdata per v1.8, but Navigraph does not. These are mostly small
airports.

Ernie.

That is meaning that Honkong is now a small airport ?
Bagdad ? , Damascus ?

With a ad-hoc program it is easy to compare and reinsert airports
http://www.intrasystem.it/immagini/CheckApts.jpg

And if Navigraph would forget New York, i think someone would claim with Navigraph.

If at least a couple of Members show interest for a new apts.txt file with included the missing 2481 airports i will prepare one to be used instead of the last one in \isg\Navdata\apts.txt.

Raimund

I meant the fact that I provided a lot of small airports pre- 1.8 Navigraph did not provide, most of that
2000 or so would probably be very airports.

From what i see both your Hong ong codes are for kai tak which does not exist.

Which makes sense since Navigraoph is using the same data the airlines use and many of those
really small airports might not make it into the Navigraph data. Obsolete airports would not be included
as well.

Post 1.8 Navigraph provides the data, so there's nothing to check on my side anymore, you'll have to
contact them and see if they can include those smaller airports in their updates.

But its good you have a tool to put them back if people want them.

Regards.
Ernie.
