I've been using the ISG/Carenado Citation integration as developed by Janek B. My flight plans consist of me entering ones created in the FSX/P3D flight planner then importing them into the ISG FMS using the Import function on the keypad. I then setup my cruise altitude and VNAV, takeoff and let the FMS take me to TOD in managed mode.....so good so far. When I reach cruise I dial in the weather at my destination for the appropriate arrival runway using an RNAV. Now the problems begin..... I select arrival runway then arrival procedure in the keypad but when I select the 'select' key for the approach, the aircraft veers off track on the managed LNAV, I have found the only way that I can get it back on managed mode is to select the direct key to the next waypoint. This is okay but the green TOD now turns to yellow and most times when TOD is reached the aircraft has to be manually engaged to descend, even though auto managed mode is set and selected. Only SOMETIMES when the approach modeis selected does the aircraft remain on track and the TOD is shown in green and descends as it is supposed to.
My questions are, what is the difference between green and yellow TOD indications and why does LNAV go off track when entering and approach on most occassions
All help appreciation
Steve
