Hi all

I am looking for all subject on your forum, but i cannot find any solution for my wilco crj200.

Problem :

It does'nt follow LNAV indication , i turn ap "on", HDG"on".

Solution :

I can see that solution is existing BUT

I dont have WP_CRJ200 in my aircraft.cfg on ISG folder

I appreciate if you could explain again precisly how to make him work

Hi Jean, the reason for it not working is because the wilco addon uses an customized autopilot not using the standard heading hold feature that standard fs autopilot uses.

ISG uses the standard heading hold feature to adjust headings, and since the ap of wilco crj dont use it it wont work. For it to work you would have to change the autopilot gauge to another one.

It doesn't work because the Wilco CRJ's autopilot has some custom features that interfere with the ISG LNAV function.

The Wilco CRJ constantly updates the planes heading which in effect overrides any ISG settings sent to the autopilot.

Blame that on Wilco, its how they designed it. But the gauges can be added to the panel so the retrofit is posted.

However in a later version (I can't remember which one) we added a workaround with the 'ResetApHdg=1' setting in the AircraftId.cfg file. That basically constantly resets the hdg
after the Wilco CRJ does it. it ends up as a constantly back and forth each FS cycle but the last input in the cycle is the ISG input so that sticks.

These settings were not added to the retrofit file as not everyone would want to go through such lengths to override the Wilco CRJ's autopilot. So we merely posted the panel.cfg as a straight gauge upgrade.

To be clear we do not guarantee an ISG upgrade will work in every aircraft, everyone works differently has has their own autopilot customizations.

Here is my panel CFG for the Wilco CRJ-700. The only anomoly I have found it the HDG indicator on th ND can be a little slow but the PFD works fine along with LNAV and VNAV.. Note second half. This needs to be added to the ISG1 Aircraft Config file. This panel cfg also included the panel switcher gauge available from Avsim: crjpnladdon.zip.
This could easily be adapted to the 200 & 900 Variants.

I did manage the panel to work!

But I have experienced one problem, that is when I set takeoff thrust, the engines go back to idle even I am att full throttle, Autothrottle is deactivated, what can I do to fix this problem??

Nice retrofit as well and it is working perfectly EXCEPT this problem :)

Please give me a hint of how I can fix this :)
