Sorry, but here is another question about exporting route files from FSB. I have tried for hours to resolve this by using suggestions from the forum and experimenting, but to no avail.
I am running FSX with Vista 64 and generally flying the LDS 767. I wish to simultaneously export FSB route files for the LDS 767 and FSX (xml). I use the FSX (xml) files for ActiveSky X. The problem I have is configuring the right file paths for this to happen. I can configure one or the other, but not both.
The correct file path to the FSX .pln files is:
C:\USERS\CONKEL COMPUTER\DOCUMENTS\FLIGHT SIMULATOR X FILES.
However, the .rte files for LDS 767 are located at:
C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MICROSOFT GAMES\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\LEVEL-D SIMULATIONS\NAVDATA\FLIGHTPLANS
In order for the FMC in the LDS 767 to download the flight plan, the .rte files must be at that location.
So with the Vista setup the LDS 767 flight plan files are not located as a subdirectory to the folder having the FSX flight plan files.
I have tried adding and saving this line to the fsbuild2.cfg file:
LDS 767=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Level-D Simulations\navdata\Flightplans but that does not change the path when I run FSBuild.
I have made a work around by creating C:\USERS\MY COMPUTER\DOCUMENTS\FLIGHT SIMULATOR X FILES\Level-D Simulations\navdata\Flightplans which will then accept the .rte files from FSBuild. However, I then have to copy and paste the .rte files over to the correct folder location before they can be used when flying the LDS 767.
Here is my current fsbuild2.cfg file
[FSBUILD]

It seems to me there must be a better way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
