Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I have noted that FSBuild does not take into account the service ceiling or distance to be flown in calculating the cruise altitude. The result is that unless the default FL250 cruise altitude is overridden it will always set the altitude to FL250. The information is there so why is it ignored?

I have set up a Skyhawk in the config file with a maxcruisealt of 13000 feet. If I do not override the default 25000 feet FSBuild sets the cruise altitude higher at 25000 feet, ignoring the maxcruisealt setting.

Ok, I have found part of the problem. I found that the parameter was specified as MaxCruise rather than MaxCruiseAlt. However, when I regenerated the flight plan the route display showed the last waypoint (BNN) altitude as FL150. When I look at the FSBuild Navlog only one waypoint (WCO) shows as FL130 while the other two waypoints (MCT and BNN) show as CLB. But when I look at the Navlog in FSX the waypoints look quite reasonable with MCT and WCO as 13000 and BNN as 6280. I don't quite understand what is going on but in the end it is the Navlog in FSX that I am loading into Radar Contact so everything should work ok. I just need to make sure that I check the FSX Navlog before starting the flight.
