Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi,

I get an error message saying it can't semd to the PMDG 737 NGX when I try to load a flight plan into the PMDG 737 NGX and it does not load to the PMDG flight plan folder. Any Ideas?

The two most common reasons:

FS_HOME is not set correctly in the export options dialog - it should be set to the main FS directory.
or
You have Win7/Vista and have installed FSX in the Program Files or Program Files(x86) directory and are not running FSBuild from the right click "run as adminstrator" and/or have UAC turned on.

UAC is Windows User Access Control - it can interfere with writing files to the Program Files directories\subdirectories. Press F1 and type UAC into the Win Help box that comes up and search to find out about how to turn it off. Note that you must reboot the system after you set it off.

Done everything you guys said and still get the following error message:

"ERR - Unable to open Active Sky 'wx_station_list.txt' file
Unable to create FS2000 file S:\fs20004\Pilots\eggl-lowi.PLN
ERR - Unable to create PMDG 737NG FMC file
S:\fs2004\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS|EGGLLOWI.rte"

Any other ideas? I'm running the PMDG 737NGX under FSX and Windows 7

OK, having done that without success we'll go on to the next phase - can you please copy and paste the content of your fsbuild2.cfg (it is in the main FSBuild directory) file into your next response? It is just a simple text file and can be opened in notepad... and tell me what version of ActiveSky you are using please.

The 'Unable to create FS2000 file S:\fs20004\Pilots\' error message is the clue.

It displays that message when it cannot find either FS2002.EXE, FS9.exe, or FSX.exe in the specified FS_Home folder. It then presumes FS2000 is being used which had a '\pilots' subfolder.

Make sure one of those files is in your FS_Home folder. If you are using P3D, then copy an .exe file to that folder and rename it to fsx.exe.

When I select options and browse, I set the home path for FSX, but I have to do this every time I create a flight plan as it doesn't stay on that path - everything is cleared when I reopen FSBuild to create another flight plan, it doesn't maintain the settings.
