Hi,
If you type in
DCT CH270007
in your route (coded flight plan box)
a waypoint will be created when you build the route

Hi,
I found there were three VORs name = CH in the fsb_vor.txt file.
I will take a closer look at this.

I also tried changing the departure from
RJAA CVC

to

RJAA DCT CVC090033 .... etc just to see if the command was working here... and it did work.

But that does not fix the arrival problem.

Another method for a VOR waypoint creation is CVC090033 for example.
In your original post I did not know exactly where in your plan the new waypoint was to be inserted.

I will try a few things here now that I have your plan

Some problem with the CH VOR

I tried doing your plan with the following changes as a test.

1. Removed the TH from the plan line
2. Added DCT CVC180222 in its place (plots a course back to departure)
3. Built the new plan
4. The DCT command worked

But, I have not been able to get "any" new waypoints created off of the CH VOR!

Also had a problem with the TH in you plan.

Back to the drawing board!

OK,
I fond another close by VOR fron the Fsbuils tables (I don't have charts for that area).

ZAO is the VOR

I removed TH and CH from your flight plan for the test.

Then inserted DCT ZAO180033 into the plan

It worked great.

So, Earnie will have to shed some light on the CH VOR (there are several in the .txt file but that should be ok)
