Hi Ernie,
I have installed the gauges in a number of planes, I can't remember seeing this before:


The map display of the HSI doesn't seem to match the data provided for waypoint. The distance disrepancy seems to app 10 % of the map range.
I have only checked for two planes sofar, with the same result.
The gauge is slightly distorted to fit the panel in both cases, could this be the problem?

I'm using the gauges with RXP FL T, and if I have the gyro drift for the RXP gauges activated, it really screws up LNAV. LNAV seems to have some problem following the route precisely, and will often not adjust unless I reset the gyrodrift very often.
Turning of the Gyrodrift makes LNAV work fine, it seems with a short test.
I'm talking about gyrodrift in the RXP gauges, not the realism settings in flightsim!

You shouldn't have gyro drift on an aircraft that has an EHSI. You can edit this in the particular aircraft's aircraft.cfg file.

Go with electro-mag slaved and your problems will be solved. Then your Cessnas (etc.) will still suffer from gyro drift, and you won't have to fiddle with your sim setting every time you fly.

Basically, you upgraded the avioncs from a system that was vacuum operated, to an electric system (ie the ISG FMS, EHSI), therefore the aircraft.cfg file needs to refelct that.
