Okay, if you have the AeroSim FSX Boeing Triple Seven, FSFK, DBS Profile Radar and the CS Weather Radar (and the ISG Gauges too of course), this panel retrofit will give you a fully tricked out Boeing 777, complete with:

The ISG Smiths CDU in all three slots on the VC's pedestal, the ISG LNAV and VNAV engage buttons in the VC on the autopilot mode control panel, the replacement ISG B777 Primary Flight Display in the VC in the P1 and P2 slots, plus radar, ACARS, VSD and FMC displays as 2D pop up panels. If you add the TSS B777 sound set as well, then this is the FSX B777 you've been waiting for.

If you only have the ISG stuff, it will of course work to give you the FMCs and PFDs and you can simply comment out the other gauges if you like. Don't forget to add all the VNAV and LNAV commands in the ISG config file!

This picture highlights the changes in the VC and shows the 2D pop ups:

I'm just curious to know if anyone has considered a panel retrofit for a three-holer (DC10/MD11 specifically) using a freeware panel? I can do minor tweaks to aircraft and scenery, but I have yet to figure out how to work with panels. I'm sure the retrofits for the payware panels work great, but I'm not sure I can use those retrofits without having purchased the aircraft models the panels were meant to be used with.

I've read the documents on how to create a panel with the ISG instruments, but it pretty much just leaves me scratching my head. I'm sure I can figure it out, but haven't had the time to sit down and play with creating a panel yet. Any thoughts on how a complete and utter beginner can go about figuring out how to retrofit panels? :)

I have downloaded several of the retrofit panels available on the ISG site, but I was looking specifically for a panel for a three-holer (for now I am using a 747 panel, and it works, if not very authentically). In my experience they are typically somewhat hard to find, probably because there were only a handful of three-engine aircraft designs that were manufactured. I will keep a look out for a good panel that I can attempt to retrofit with ISG products, but I'm not at all confident I will be successful. Have to start somewhere, though. :)

Is it possible that somebody modifies this panel: jb777panel_r09.zip (www.avsim.com)

It is a Boeing 777 panel for FSX and works great with the Posky model.
Could somebody build a FMC/VNAV/LNAV in it?

I have tried it several times by myself but I find it very hard to do.

Thanks!
Robin

Oke, thats to bad :(

Thanks for looking at it :)

However, I am trying to make a good working B777 for my FSX.
The posky model + Posky virtual cockpit work fine in FSX.

But when I download the panel retrofit for Posky 777 from the website and replace it, I do have a problem.

I do not have a horizon showing up, is it because the panel.cfg was made for FS9 or what?
How can I solve this?

Thankyou!

Hi

I just saw the A380 VC on the first page. Could please somebody send me those textures for the VC?

Thanks!
Kind Regards

I just noticed on the panel retrofits page, that the link to the T. Ruth A330 panel goes to the page for the T. Ruth A300 panel. Is this supposed to happen?

Hello Falcon lovers!

I'd like to share my retrofit for the 2D, and VC with the ISG v1.8 Gauge Pack.

The aircraft is now VNAV/LNAV capable, includes the EADI/EHSI package... and a Smith's FMS to top it off.

Hope you all enjoy, and please remember at this time I have only tested this in FSX.

Hi

It would help if the retrofits page tells which version (FSX or FS9) and if both 2D and VC supported.

Regards

I'd like to request the Premier Aircraft Design Dash 8-Q400. The panel is different from the current one in the library.

Thanks
