I did not say there was no FD in the Digital Aviation F70. Of course there is! It is just that I cannot read it! I hope these screenshots make the point.

Digital Aviation F70 panel - I cannot read any of the switches. I know that the FD can be cycled through different displays - rose, map, arc etc but I cannot read the writing on the switches so it has to be trial and error. The display itself is dim and low definition compared to the PF freeware version. Compare the backup altimeters in the two panels.

Hmmm yeah the fonts are a bit small, but probably correct in relation to the size of the gauge. But hard to read in its smaller flightsim size.

Would this expanded mode it seems to have help any ??

Anyway if you still want to add ISG1 to it, of course we'll help you do it.

Thanks Eric. Yes, I know the gauges can be expanded and I agree that on your expanded screenshot the writing on the buttons is readable. But in standard cockpit view even with specs I cannot tell one switch from the other. To take the autopilot as an example, which button do I activate to get Approach mode? In my opinion, this is just not good enough!

Having said that, the Digital Aviation plane is a joy to fly. Unlike the Project Fokker version you can start it up like a C152, hop in, and take to the skies. Not authentic but very nice when you can't be bothered, or don't have time, to go through a more realistic startup routine.

Thanks for your generous offer to help me upgrade the Digital Aviation gauges. I'll post you the panel.cfg.
