Hi Ernie
I just purchased your ISG Gauges and installed them. They are really nice. At the beginning it took some time to find out how to install but your docs are quite good. The frame rate is not influenced by your gauges which is an important thing with FSX.
My system . Vista ultimate and FSX
I installed ISG-ISG1_FSX_V1.51.exe and update ISG151_UpdateInstall.exe.
Than I installed your retrofit for the default FSX Airbus A321.
Now I have some questions and suggestions:
1.With your panel.cfg I had a problem with [Window10]. If I click on the gauge in the main panel [Window00], [Window10] opens but the size of the gauge is the same. Between frame ( gauge01) and EHSI (gauge02) is a black rim.
Your panel.cfg
// Full Size MFD
[Window10]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,768
visible=0
ident=4017
gauge01=Airbus_A321!popup_pfd_mfd_screen_bezel, 341,415,341,353
gauge02=ISG1!DU_1000_EHSI,367,441,289,289,WN
I changed gauge02 to
gauge02=isg1!DU_1000_EHSI_NB,367,441,289,289,WN
and now the gauge has the correct size and fits into the frame(gauge01).
2.In your doc about the ISG DU1000 EHSI.pdf on page 3 you explain the APP/VOR mode.
On the picture I can see a green Indicator ( arrow) from 32° to 212° . I could not see this in my cockpit. Is this the indicator for VOR2?. This would be great.
What can I do to see it ?
3.The rose itself is a little bit difficult to read. Between 0° and 30° your rose has markings at 5°,15°and 25° this is confusing. Better is only markings for 0°,10°,20° and 30°.
4.The EFIS control panel does not really match to the default FSX panel. So I would like to program a control panel which is perfectly integrated in the default panel. This is possible with the SDK for FSX. But I have to use XML. For this I need all the variables influenced through the EFIS control panel.
The GaugeXX=ISG1!Server, 1,1,1,1 gives only isg_lnav, isg_vnav, isg_nd_tcas. I presume the correct format is (L:isg_lnav,enum).
Do you think it is possible to enlarge the server gauge to give all necessary variables needed to replace the EFIS control panel?
Thanks a lot
Stefan
