I'm planning to buy this package to upgrade my Eaglesoft Citation X.

I have a couple of questions. I plan to integrate the Smiths FMS and Proline4 MFD into the Citation.

I prefer to manage fuel in Kgs. Can the MFD display fuel in Kgs?

I prefer to manage the Baro in Hpa. Again can the displays handle Hpa?

Looks like a great package, and looking forward to it.

Thanks Ernie.

I've bought the package, and am now installing.

My CX currently has the RealityXP EADI, ISG Proline4 MFD & Smiths FMS, and Eaglesoft's EICAS.

I've got a couple of issues with the Proline4:

1. The compass rose doesn't display any numbers (and the wind speed/direction arrow has no numbers either and no numbers for the range)

2. The green "track" indicator is on the opposite side of the heading bug (if I'm tracking right of heading set, the green circle is left of the heading bug by the same number of degrees)

3. Is there any way to display a DME to/from the VOR tuned in NAV2 on the Proline4? I can get the pointer up, but no distance reading.

Thanks

EDIT

I fixed the missing numbers by installing the FSX installer version (even though I run FS9), but it still seems to me that the green track bug is on the wrong side of the heading bug.

If the wind is from my left, then I am tracking right of the heading bug, but the green bug is on the left of the magenta heading bug. LNAV tracks the next WPT OK, but it doesn't track towards the green bug.

And if I could get a DME readout from NAV2 on the Proline4 that would be great.

BTW I'm looking forward to an ISG EADI.

The ISG Proline4 does display DME information form NAV1.

From the manual :

COMPASS MODE & APP/VOR MODE

Line 3 displays either the active flight plan waypoint, and distance or the active tuned Navaid's ident, and dme distance.

Regarding the "real" Proline4, Collins seem to say that the system is flexible, and that the information displayed on screen is an aircraft manufacturer spec. item.

I am pretty sure that the software in the real Proline4 "could" display the data from NAV2 as the "active" tuned navaid, but whether any manufacturer has incorporated this, who knows? Would it not be a function of the (unused) NAV SOURCE knob on the EFIS Control Panel?

Thanks anyway

Ernie, I've noticed a couple of more issues with the Proline4 which could be bugs:

When set to UTC time, the ETA for next WPs and destination display in UTC, but the ATA for the previous WP displays in local time.

The ETA on a flight I flew yesterday displayed as 15:60 instead of 16:00

When entering a FIX in the Smiths FMS FIX page, and entering a distance as /250 by pressing the adjacent LSK, should that fix display on the Proline4 MAP display, and should it have a ring around it at 250Nm?

Also another question:

With the MD11-style ND in VOR/APPR mode, the green pointer points towards the NAVAID tuned on NAV2, but the green footer on the bottom right displays the IDENT and DME for the NAVAID tuned on NAV1, the same information as the bottom left blue footer. Both the blue and green footers display the same information, although NAV1 and NAV2 are tuned to different VORs. Is this intentional?
