Hi Ernie,

I've been working with your product a great deal again - and - honestly I couldn't imagine flying without them... In the following picture - is the course deviation indicator deflected to the wrong side ??? I did a "Direct To" to an airport - LNAV is on - and - you can see the desired track to the left of the lubber line... I understand that ISGsim goes straight to the first way point - which is fine - so the position of the plane is good... Is it incorrect that the course deviation is deflected to the right of track or am I missing something ???

Regards,
Scott

It doesn't look correct in the pic.

What was the previous and the active waypoints, and what was the aircraft's lat/lon ?

Regards.
Ernie.

Hi Ernie,

I was just up flying around - between Block Island and Nantucket - testing out the RXP gauges I recently added... No flight plans in the FMC... I had just added the MCU to the panel because I couldn't figure out a nice simple way to do a "Direct To" via the Honeywell FMC... I was heading Northeast - and - did a "Direct To" to KBUF on the MCU... The plane made the commanded sweeping left turn to head straight to KBUF... So the offset from the yellow track all looks good - right - operating the way it should... I can recreate it so I can provide more detail if you need it... I had noticed this happen before with this gauge... I didn't pay too much attention when I took the PIX because I didn't notice the issue until after the fact... Maybe changing display modes would have changed something... Not sure...

I can provide my panel.cfg or anything else you may need...

Regards,
Scott

Hi Ernie,

I looked at it again... It only has an issue when using the "FMS" as the nav source... When "VOR" is selected it operates normally...

The Course Deviation needle only has an issue when you are right of track - it should deviate left but it goes the right instead... When left of track - it devaites to the right - which is good... So the problem is the gauge will only deviate to the right no matter where you are... LOL - if you can follow that...

I didn't check any of your other gauges to see if this is a global issue...

Hope this helps...

Regards,
Scott

Hi Ernie,

Just checking in - is that all the information you need on this issue ??? I'd gladly try to obtain whatever else you needed...

Regards,
Scott

Hi Ernie,

I read the thread - that speaks of the Navigraph data set - I didn't see any mention of the EHSI fix... Or was it that you are busy on other projects ??? Sorry if I missed it or misunderstood...

Regards,
Scott
