I downloaded the new isg file and ran the .exe file after extracting to a temporary folder. The Smith FMS continues to show 1009.
The new files have all ended up in the ....\FS9\isg\navdata folder. Is this correct?

Thanks. I run 1.6 and have not installed the 1.7 version. I subscribe to Navigraph Airac updates and ISG has just this month been added to their downloads. There is nothing in the install .exe which says I must use the update with 1.7 only.

Take a look at this:

I got the new AIRAC working 99% with the 1.6 version. Can't see any reason why you'd not upgrade though...

Thanks, Geoff. I hesitated to install v1.7 because of some confusion on these boards about whether or not to uninstall v1.6. Long experience with software has taught me to wait a bit.

Version 1.7 is now installed with its 1013 AIRAC and seems fine. I suppose 1013 is the same as 1101?
I haven't tried any of Eric's new gizmos but my old flight plans are thankfully still in place.
I presume the next ISG Navigraph update will register as 1102 and not 1014 :wink:
