Hi all,
I've been integrating ISG into RFP and would like to use the FSBuild profile for fuel predictions in the Smiths FMC.
I've entered the filename in the PerformanceData= line but I'm not sure it's being used.
When I look at the PROG page I just seem to be getting the current fuel burn/speed extrapolated to my destination, i.e. when climbing it says I don't have enough fuel and in turbulance the fuel remaining jumps up and down all the time as the engines increase/decrease power and the speed changes.
I was under the impression that using PerformanceData this wouldn't happen as it has speed/fuel burn tables to get the information from.
I have a few questions to check I'm not doing something silly :
1) Do I need to put the .prf at the end of the PerformanceData= line in the cfg file? 2) The prf file goes in the aircraft directory in the ISG folder, right? 3) What's the best way to tell if the data is being used? 4) Can I use a FSBuild prf file straight away and don't need to make any modifications to it? 5) Will it show the optimum alts (as defined in the prf file)? 6) Are there any other hints or tips that anyone has that might help?
Hope this all makes sense,
Many thanks,
Ian
