Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I am new to the retrofit panels. On a couple of a/c I have had no problem getting everything to show up correctly in the cockpits...Lately, on most aircraft I try to add a retrofit panel to just shows literally an RNAV/LNAV button and all black, maybe an hsi and altimeter, or just some random/mostly blacked out cockpit. Please give me a walkthrough of how to install these panels. I am reading that all you have to do is put the "retro" panel into the a/c's panel folder....do you replace it, or just add it alongside the original? What do I do with the aircraft.cfg file and the other one, which I can't remember? It seems that half the panel downloads don't have the other files, just the panel. Im really frustrated, please break it down for me.

Ok yeah,

The retrofit is for a different DHC-8 , (Premier Aircraft Design), that's why it doesn't work.

I will make the necessary changes for you, for the panel links you sent, and show you what I did.

Give me a day or so to do it.
