Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to start an argument here. All I know is that both computers are seeing and talking to each other just as they have in previous incarnations, except that the ASA snapshot file is two letters short of being recognized by FS Build. Apart from that, FS Build is exporting to both computers perfectly, ASA and Active Sky 6.5 both inject the weather into FS as they should, GE Pro II sends the ground textures normally, and FS Commander 8.6 is working perfectly normal. A couple of other programs I run also connect to FS normally.
Again, the ONLY problem I'm having is that FS Build is two characters shy of being able to import the winds from ASA. It can import from AS 6.5 just fine. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen something along these lines. If not, so be it. It isn't worth re-installing ASA to a shorter directory (something other than "administrator" which would seem to solve the problem, I think). And aside from importing the winds, FS Build is also working just fine. If nothing else, I can run AS 6.5 and update that snapshot, run FS Build, and go on my merry way with either AS 6.5 or ASA.
And again, thanks much for your consideration, Von. I do appreciate it.
Matt
