Hi Ernie, It's been a while I know... :?

New FSCommander v.9 is out and some changes have been made in the flight plan formats:

My request is: How much coding is involved in changing the FSC export in FSBuild :?:
Is it possible to issue a patch in order for FSbuild to export flight plans in FSC v.9 format?

Thanks in advance!

Paul,

This doesn't answer your question but it is a work-around in the interim.

When you create the FP in FS Build copy and paste the route into FS Commander's FP Window...make sure you add the Departure and Arrival 4 letter ICAO ID for the airports at the beginning and end of the flight plan. It will then work in FS Commander.

Regards,
Tom

I've looked into, and see the issue with FSC. They've added a few new columns in V9.

The fix will be included as part of the 2.4 update.

We're working with Navigraph now for Navdata upodates. Its taking a lot of work to support the
new Navdata format.

But there will be a 2.4 release coming soon.

Regards.
Ernie.

Excellent Ernie. Looking forward to the update. This is one of the few programs I have had on my computer for a long time. Ken

Hi Ernie, just a little question or suggestion. In the old versions of FSB, I believe the export programs were remembered by FSB. In your next update is it possible to remember what exports I have ticked and not require them to be reticked everytine I use FSB.

Thanks

Hi Ernie, your suggestion is what I was looking for. Can't remember why I did not check these in the options settings. What I wanted is for those items to be ticked all the time when I do a build and your suggestion did do that. Thanks for the input.
