Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I've generated a flightplan with FS Build 2.4.0.15 (though the same happened with .14). Exported to FS9 and iFly 737, see attachment. The Build Option, Build from Route waypoint Table/Grid was used. Route came from FlightAware: GIFFA4 GIFFA CQY6.

Upon sending KIAHKDFW to the Company Route line of the CDU's Route page, the sim locks up. A couple of seconds later a MS window comes up saying the sim has stopped working, asking if I want to restart.

If I input the flightplan manually, using MONNT BUMCO GIFFA CQY HOWDY BELLS TACKE DIETZ, I get no crash. I've also successfully made and used iFly plans before. I'm not sure what the problem is, but iFly support pointed me in the direction of this forum. The successful manual build apparently rules out a navdata issue, 1102 for FS Build and iFly.

Just to be clear, the KIAHKDFW.FLTPLAN file is used by iFly. I included the default PLN file as reference, but it is not causing an issue.

Included with the addon are a bunch of PDF's. On of them is called FlightPlan Introduction and describes the iFly .FLTPLAN format. Do you have that PDF? I can send it to you, if you like.

I've compared the FLTPLAN file with the notes in the PDF and there are some issues I think may be interesting to look at.

For example: "Note: It is highly recommended to leave ‘-1;’ for the lines #11 and #16, leave ‘;’ for the lines between #5 and #10, #12 and #15 in order to avoid potential unnecessary conflict.".

As you can see in the attached file, line 11 is -1, but 16 isn't. And 5-10 and 12-15 are empty (,), instead of containing ; (;,). I'll change those lines tomorrow and see if it still crashes the sim.

The actual waypoint lines are a bit more challenging.

In retrospect 359 might have been a better choice, as it is now in .16. Though if you look at FSBuild's map, it looks more like 1 than 359, anyway...
