I have FS Build on a computer with Vista and FSX on a computer with W7 64 Bit. And NGX FMC är looking for the FLP in FSX/PMDG/NGX and I haven't find a way to point to that directory.

Set the FS_HOME folder, it will find the PMDG folder from there.

Save the settings and restart for the changes to take effect.

Regards.
Ernie.

It will only find the flight plans folder in the PMDG folder, but the NGX FMC are looking for flight plans in NGX folder which are placed in folder flight plans and FS B are definitely not pointing to the NGX folder.

In that case simply copy them from the PMDG folder to the NGX folder... however, it's been my experience that the NGX has no trouble finding them if you name them in the appropriate way - for example: EGKKLSZH and the like (EGKKLSZHnn, where n is a number from 0 - 9) works just fine.

Now I had some more time to explore FSB & NGX. I found out that PMDG FMC do look in both folder and list them in FMC without folders separation. So now it looks good.

Thanks for our help.

Is the EGTELEPA.rte file in the PMDG / FlightPlans folder ?

What page in the FMS are entering this on ?

What LSK are you pressing after the entry (ie what label is next to the LSK).

Check if the FMS has a page that lists the stored flight plans, previous PMDG FMS's had this feature.

Two people are telling you it works, so its a matter of making the right entry, in the FMS.

Unfortunately I am not an expert in how the PMDG NGX works.

Regards.
Ernie.

No the EGTELEPA flight plan doesen't appear Ernie

I am entering it in the 'co route' LSK on the NGX. (been around a while Ernie) ;)

I will write to PMDG and ask them why the NGX doesen't read from the Flight Plans folder as other flights do. The odd thing is that, on installing the NGX, makes a seperate folder in the PMDG Flight Plans folder.
Will keep you posted ;)

Maybe it is a "permissions" problem on a network drive?
The plan should appear in the PMDG "flightplans" folder (default).

Well, no official reply from PMDG, they are obviously not bothered.

This is my present settings.

Dave,

Your screenshot is too small to read ... can you read it?

Thanks Guys, a certain Jim Hodgkin helped me to cure Windows 7's foibles and I am now up and running. :)

Thanks
