I have a question about the parameter EngThrust in the PlaneID.CFG file. Is that value for one engine or a combined total for all engines. For instance, I have several aircraft equipped with the CFM56-7B1, which produces a maximum thrust of 19,500 lbs. This engine is equipped on several of my B737's (TwinJet) and in the B737.CFG file I have it entered as EngThrust=19500, but also on a KC-135 and EC-3B (4-Jets) with the same entry. So, does the config file pickup the 2 vs 4 configuration...39,000 for the 737 and 78,000 for the 707 frames?

Or, does it really matter and that parameter is simply eye-candy and a visual cue for the pilot on the Smith's FMS Initial Startup Page?

Thanks

Randy

Eye candy, it has no other purpose in the FMS, then to put something in that field.

But the value should be the total thrust of all the engines.

Regards.
Ernie.
