You commented previously that you had no previous version of FSBuild on your system - where did you obtain the full version of FSBuild 2.4?

OK, then... let's try again. I want you to uninstall the application completely and delete any folder(s) and remaining files that might be left over afterwards. Then I want you to turn UAC off - if you don't already know how to do so, click on the desktop where there's no icon and then press F1, when help comes up type in UAC and search - open the first item and it will tell you how. Once it is set off you must reboot your computer. When that is complete, right click the FSB installer and choose "run as administrator" and then chose a location for FSB that is under the c:\ root in a place all its own. Do not install it in the "Program Files (x86)" subdirectory - this is important. When that is done, run FSB from the right click "run as administrator", let it come up, close it, and look at the fsbuild2.cfg file - if it still shows the bogus s:\ whatever stuff delete it and run FSB again, close it, and then see if a new one was created. I know this is a pain but it has solved similar problems for other folks.

That's fine.

Now go back to the Export Directories page, and set your FS_HOME folder (this should be
your root FS folder where your fs9.exe or fsx.exe file resides).

Then click on the 'settings' tab and press 'Save Config Options' button.

Then Restart Fsbuild, it should work without error messages after that.

Regards
Ernie.

Ernie were so close I set up the dir path and entered a flight and it came up with no errors even at the export....but when i tried to put it in the fmc i got invalid entry. Let me tell you what i did and you can correct me flight is from kmem to kpkb
at the pos i entered kmem then on the next page i loaded it again and put kpkb as the destination. Then in the scratch pad i entered kmemkpkb and clicked on co route. but it gave me the error message. So then i went back and just entered the postion then entered on the scratch pad kmemkpkb but no luck there either...maybe we can get this done i hope thanks

Two things to do - first, look in the PMDG\Flightplans file and make sure that KMEMKPKB.rte is present. Second, make sure that the plane is using the same AIRAC version as FSB...

Two for one... The AIRAC is the navigation database used by FSBuild and PMDG; a new one comes out every month from Navigraph (http://www.navigraph.com/www/default.asp) and should be the same version for FSBuild and PMDG planes. It is payware. FSBuild as installed and PMDG as installed do not use the same version - if they are not in sync you may get errors that prevent loading a plan.

If the file is not in the Flightplan folder then it either wasn't created or got exported somewhere else. Go to your Options page and make sure that the path for PMDG737NG is correct and that you have checked the box for PMDG 737NG in the treeview on the Options|Settings page and then press the "Save Config Options" button. Make sure that the Export To... menu has PMDG 737/747.. etc checked as well. Make sure that you always run FSB from the right click menu "run as administrator".
