Ernie,

It worked for me! Just changed the cfg file as you said, and the daily tracks are there.

Thanks

Just a thought.

Where is the dowsnload NATs button? I have changed the CFG file and I have IE 6 installed so it should work for me if only I could find the darn button!
Sorry for stupid question but I really can't find it.

The NATS button is only displayed in 'plan mode' (via the PM button to enter plan mode and the 'DN' button to download the NATS tracks).

However in ver 2.2.2 using the 'LOADNATS' param in the [startup] section of the fsbuild2.cfg file will cause the NATS tracks to be loaded automatically on program startup.

Regards.
Ernie.

Westbound NATs are generally displayed (in the USA) in the afternoon, because this is when most flights leave for Europe (15:00 - 20:00 EDT). Therefore, they are published as close to the "afternoon push" as possible.

Eastbound NATs are published for the same reason. Most flights leaving Europe leave in the morning, to arrive here in the afternoon, which is why you can't download NATs going westbound early in the morning.

Any fix to downloading current NATS?

Its hosted at fsbuild.com for now.

change your URL in the fsbuild2.cfg file to...

NATRAKURL=http://www.fsbuild.com/nat.html

Regards.
Ernie.

Note: This is now the default URL for the NATS in ver 2.3

Regards.
Ernie.

For what it's worth, VATSIM data doesn't download either since IE7, I get a "The Parameter is Incorrect" message, similar to that when I try to get NATS.

Here's my FSBuild2.cfg file:

[FSBUILD]
AUTOREFRESH_DELAY=1
MAGYEAR=2002
AIRCRAFT=B737-700 w/ CFM56-7B24
SBPC_SERVER=vatsim.net
ROUTELINE=1
NATRAKURL=http://www.fsbuild.com/nat.html
NAVLOGTITLE=MetzAir Dispatch - Virtual Airline Flight Plan
NAVLOGIMAGEBOTTOM=760
NAVLOGIMAGELEFT=20
NAVLOGTEXTTOP=750
NAVLOGIMAGEFILE=newbanner2.jpg
WEATHERPROG=ACTIVESKY2004-ASV

[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
FS_HOME=\\MELVILLE\GMS\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9
SB3_FP=\\MELVILLE\GMS\PROGRAM FILES\SQUAWKBOX3\PLANS
AS2004-ASV=\\MELVILLE\GMS\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9\MODULES\ASV6

[FLY!]

[PS1]

[X-PLANE]

[STARTUP]
CLEARMAP_BEFORE_BUILD
DISPRTEWPTSONMAP

WINDS_ALOFT
WXFORETA
FS2000_GPS

I'm having exactly the same problems.

Can someone confirm exactly what the line is in FSB2.2 that needs to be typed into the config page to retrieve the NATS in plan mode, this has got confusing.

I take it IE7 is to blame for these troubles?

Here is my current CFG;

[FSBUILD]
AUTOREFRESH_DELAY=1
MAGYEAR=2002
AIRCRAFT=A320-200 w/ PSS A320 Addon
SBPC_SERVER=www.vatsim.net
ROUTELINE=1
NATRAKURL=www.fsbuild.com/nat.html
WEATHERPROG=ACTIVESKY2004

[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
FS_HOME=C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9
AS2004=C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9\MODULES\ASV6

[FLY!]

[PS1]

[X-PLANE]

[STARTUP]
CLEARMAP_BEFORE_BUILD
DISPRTEWPTSONMAP
WINDS_ALOFT
FS2000_GPS
PMDG737NG
PSSA320
PSS777
PSSDASH8
AUTOREFRESH_ON

I have tried it with both the http in and out.

Cheers.

Mark.

Ok nevermind, I found the problem :oops:. User error and one of the foolish kind.

Sorry!

best regards,

How did you solve it?

I can't get online ATC either and I'm beginning to believe it's since I installed IE 7?

Thanks.

Mark.

I'm getting weird plots on the NAT tracks. I am downloading them without trouble and they show up, but I keep getting tracks that are WAY north of the tracks according to the Coordinates....The Nat tracks I am getting are up around N56 and N58. Nothing on the daily updates goes that far north. Is there some reason for this? Did I over look something simple? I assume I have :)

Ernie,

I'm sorry, but I have changed my FSBuild2.cfg file to read

NATRAKURL=http://www.fsbuild.com/nat.html

and I continue to get the error when trying to access DNs. Should I uninstall IE7?

Anyone?

Is there a fix or workaround for those of us with IE7 installed to get the NAT tracks working?

Thanks,
