Hi, I just purchased the product and have "trial and error" fitted gauges into the Captain Sim 757. I would really like to get some form of navigation system into the visually stunning package.
I am a complete noob to gauge editing and all, but over 4 hours I was able to fit gauges into place using the demo of FS Panel Studio to "see" the ISG1! gauges. I could not find anything to walk me through what all I need to install for the system to work (LNAV/VNAV/Speed) as intended, so I am dropping in here.
I am attaching a screenshot of where I put things. I have added the Smiths FMC, Boeing Center EFIS, LNAV and VNAV buttons, and the Boeing ND. When I program a route, I can follow LNAV just fine, but the VNAV portion will not work. I know I am overlooking something, or perhaps a series of things. VNAV speed is also not responsive, as it is still is being commanded by the standard auto throttle input. Also I can't seem to get the Boeing Center EFIS to display in a normal, legible format. It is crammed into a 1 inch by 3 inch area when clicked, but does function correctly with the ND.
Was I supposed to create a cfg for the 757 in the ISG/Aircraft path? I did, using the 737-400 one plus the additional coding in Ernie's sticky note.
Can someone let me know what I am missing and how to get this to work right with this package? Any help is appreciated, and I can supply my panel cfg when I get home later if it is any help. Think of square one, because that's probably where any assistance needs to start.
Many thanks,
Scott
